Do not burn the candle for more than four hours per use
Keep wick trimmed to 1/8 inch before each use. To trim wick, gently break off burned edges with fingertips and discard

Extinguish the flame, let the candle come to room temperature, and trim the wick to 1/8 inch before relighting
